AVID Student Profile
The AVID Student is a student with academic potential:
​

Desire and determination to enter a 4-year university
-
Average to high test scores
-
Has a 2.0-3.5 (or higher) GPA
-
College potential with support
-
Has average or above-average citizenship grades and regular attendance
The AVID Student meets one or more of the following criteria:​

First-generation in their family to attend college
-
Historical "least served" in 4-year colleges/universities
-
Students in the academic middle who are seeking additional support in a rigorous curriculum
-
Special circumstances
AVID Application
You do not have to necessarily meet the standards of the AVID Student Profile straight away. However, the AVID program expects all students to put their best foot forward when joining our program.
